What type of professional development do we focus on?

Search for information seems very difficult….NASA provides a superficial level, and very detailed for publishing researchers, but nothing in the middle.

Educate the pushers so they have a template that each mission/project should use

Wide dissemination, retraining for each mission for informal ed. community.

Why isn’t there a single contact point for NASA-outreach for ALL NASA projects

Get Informal ed material that meets national standards/tighten up alignment

The line between formal/informal is blurry, and shouldn’t be so strictly divided at NASA.

Is there a training for teachers in how to use a planetarium/museum?

AMNH, Chicago do this.

There could be training for in/pre service t’s to use tech, and informal ed. materials

The NASA outreach agenda shouldn’t be exclusively mission-driven.
