Keyboard Controls
Partiview accepts keyboard shortcuts for some commands. These are typed while your mouse is in the Graphics Window. Table 4.1 lists the shortcut keys available and describes their function.

| [TAB] | Changes the focus to the Command Line so that you can begin typing a command. |
| [ESC] | Exit Partiview (also see the exit command). |
| f | Change to Fly flight mode. |
| o | Change to Orbit flight mode. |
| r | Change to Rotate flight mode. |
| t | Change to Translate flight mode. |
| [Shift] | Allows finer control during flight. |
| [Ctrl] | Modifies the Orbit Flight Mode without having to change modes. Left button flying changes from orbit to pan. Right button flying changes from forward/backward to rotate. |
| cw | Resets the camera position to (x, y, z) = (0, 0, 3). |
| p | Identifies the nearest object under the mouse cursor. The result is printed to the Console Window. |
| [Shift]-p | Change the Point of Interest to the selected object. This will change the point about which rotations and orbiting take place. |
| s or S | Toggles the stereo viewing mode on and off (see the stereo command). |
| [Shift]-o | Toggle the Perspective Mode on and off. |
| v | Increase the Field of View (see the fov command). |
| [Shift]-v | Decrease the Field of View. |
