Extragalactic Data Groups
In this section you'll find a dossier on each data group in the Extragalactic Atlas. Each profile will have a listing of the data files, their sources, and the data variables associated with each group.
The descriptions are organized similar to those in the Milky Way Atlas in sections titled: “3-D Catalogs,” “All-Sky Surveys,” “Models, Simulations, and Images,” “Coordinate Grids.” For data groups that also appear in the Milky Way Atlas, we will refer you to those previous sections rather than reiterate them here.
