Distribution

Find out where you can see the Digital Universe.

The Digital Universe is now being distributed to planetariums, science centers, and museums around the world. You can see the atlas in its native form where you are taken on a live flight through the Universe (or pilot yourself through the Universe), or in a pre-rendered video, such as a planetarium space show or Science Bulletins news feature.

From AMNH & the Hayden Planetarium

Free web access
Of course, the Digital Universe is available for free from this web site where we receive tens of thousands of requests per year. This is the desktop version of the atlas using Partiview.
Live Planetarium Programs
Each month at the Hayden Planetarium we take you on a journey through the cosmos in Virtual Universe.
Space Shows
The Digital Universe provides the basis for AMNH's Space Shows, which are distributed to planetariums around the world. Our latest production is Cosmic Collisions.
Science Bulletins
Digital Universe makes a regular appearance in AstroBulletin features. Science Bulletins is a subscription-based service with approximately 30 museums and science centers that receive its weekly feeds.
Moveable Museum
The Digital Universe is featured on an interactive station inside the Discovering the Universe Moveable Museum.
