More than a space theater or a building, New York City's Hayden Planetarium enjoys a proud legacy that has blended scientific scholarship with innovative public outreach for much of the past century. Consistent with our mission statement, the Hayden staff continues to conduct research in astrophysics and, of course, to bring the universe down to Earth.
